Why you should get up and learn how to dance!
Dancing is part of being human.
We do not know when we start dancing. We just know that was a really long time ago. And why do we keep doing that?
That was one of the questions that made me jump into that universe. And after been immersed and living there, I truly believe that that dancing can help the world to become a better place. How?
By having everyone becoming a dancer!
You probably already heard about some benefits that ballroom dancing can bring to your life.
To help you in this journey I will share some benefits that I encountered through the years. (This project came to life during the years of the pandemic COVID19, so you will find some references to those days).
Here you can find the whole list.
If you prefer to check the ones that focus more on the physical aspect click here.
If you're looking for more than the physical ones, this is your stop.
However, this is just a simple guide. The list will never be completed because you can always find new ones!
Go try it out and let me know the ones you discover!
I like to be thinking about things. I like to try to understand the reasons for stuff. A lot of time I just get in trouble with that (😂), but sometimes it works out!
I've been in this dancing universe for not a long time and already saw some fantastic things happening. Every time it happened, I thought the same thing:
"More people need to know about this!".
I spent some time talking with some mentors and friends and decide that if I want that to happen I had to do something. (even if it was writing my crazy ideas 😅).
I wanted to answer this question:
"How to explain dance to someone that never danced before?"
To be completely honest, I really don't know.
However, one thing I know. We love to judge and compare things. We are awesome at that! From a young age, we are taught to rationalize our decisions. To find the pros and cons before we decide on something.
So, what if, instead of trying to describe an experience (which is kind of impossible - ask your mother how she felt when you were born for example), I could give you the reasons why you should do it 💡?
And then by showing what you could get from that, you might allow yourself to try.
I don't know if that will work. You can let me know later, ok?
I hope you enjoy and have some fun reading (and dancing 💃🕺).
