It’s time to stretch and make everything a little bit looser because we are going to talk about flexibility. 💪🦵
One of the benefits that ballroom dancing can provide for your body is to make you more flexible. (I am not talking about Cirque du Soleil style 🎪, ok? ). I am talking about regular day-to-day activities.
Bending to tie your shoelaces. Scratching your back (without using a wall =p). Put a shirt on by yourself. Simple examples that may sound like a joke, but when you stop being able to do them, you realize how stiff you have become.
By allowing your body to move in all directions you will start to recover this lost ability bit by bit.
Add music 🎼 to that, and it won’t even feel like an exercise. Just a fun and playful moment.
Now imagine adding someone you love in your arms moving with you, and it starts to feel like a dream, right? 😍
We are born flexible, and we lose that ability with time. We need to take action to avoid that! We can change that future (or present 🤕).
Ballroom dancing is one of the things that can help us with that. Getting flexible does not have to be torture, ok?
