Hey!
Did you just finish all your series on Netflix (or Amazon, Crave, Disney+, or any other streaming service that is popular when you read this π)? I understand that. It feels good to sit down, relax and enjoy a good show (and that gets(feels) extra good when you have an excellent couch π
).
The problem is when you have to get back up and go back to "real life," right? Many body parts can scream with some pain (even some parts that we didn't know existed until now π’). Besides that, our motivation to start moving again is close to none.
However, we all know how vital exercising or any kind of physical activity is to our life. No matter what age we are talking about! (And do not make that face, ok? We know which one π).
Exercise does not need to be a problem (or torture like some people like to refer to it π). You just have to find something that changes this preconceived perception. In other words, something that you can enjoy and have fun doing. The good thing is that we have many different options to choose from nowadays. But you already know my choice, right?
Ballroom dancing can give you tons of exercise. If you don't believe it, try to dance for only 30 minutes without stopping. πͺ
And the best part is that it does not feel like exercise at all. You are just dancing! You can go really fast, or you can slow it down. Just decide what style of music you want to hear and start taking your steps and enjoying.
For people like me, who don't like to exercise alone, you're always going to have more people with you to share the floor and the experience of dancing. And maybe you can even learn some new moves or find new partners to dance with.
Get back in shape and have a lot of fun! "Just" dance! ππΊ
